Planning Application
Planning Permission is usually required if you intend to significantly alter your home such as adding an extension, undertaking a loft conversion, changing the use or dividing part of your house to create a separate dwelling.

There are certain works that do not require a formal planning application as these are considered within Permitted Development .

In these circumstances a Certificate of Lawfulness can be applied for which will support your development and reassure future purchasers of your property. We will be able to advise you of the appropriate planning process once we have visited the project site.


Dependant on the above approach, our service may include:
• The production of full existing and proposed plans (CAD)
• Research and description of proposed build materials
• Completion of the planning application forms and any additional documents required,
• Printing of the CAD drawings,
• Production of the bound final application document with the required copies for submission, plus an additional client copy.
• Revisions and re-submissions as required.

We have a well-established working relationship with the local councils in the region and are therefore in a good position to liaise with the council on your behalf. Should the local authority require revisions, or the application be refused, we will carry out a further redesign and resubmission free of charge.
